November 27, 2022 – Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop
Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2022 Blog Hop! We’re excited to share projects with you again this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations, using Stampin’ Up! products.
Once you’re done with each post, scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see a list of Blog Hop participants. You can click on their name to go to their post or you can click the NEXT button to go to the next post in line. Happy crafting! This month’s theme is “Christmas.”
Framed for the Holidays Vintage 6″ x 6″ Lights Aglow Card
This card was inspired by my husband, Eric. He saw just the DSP on the front and suggested I create a “vintage” Christmas card.
The Lights Aglow DSP is my absolute FAVORITE and is, sadly :-(, discontinued and out of stock. If you don’t have this DSP already, then substitute any other DSP you like or you can look to the aftermarket for it. It was our MOST POPULAR DSP this year for all of Stampin’ Up!
To give this a more vintage feel, I used the photo splits die from our Fabulous Frames Die set and put the DSP on a black background. It makes me think of an old photo album.
I’m in love with the Festive Pearls and the Pearl Basic Jewels and thought they would be perfect for the tree.
I created my own little gifts to go under the tree with scraps from various packs of DSP.
For me, I think I might frame this and hang it on my wall. I’m very pleased with how it turned out and it makes me think of Christmas as a little girl, growing up with my mom and older sister. 🙂
